Botoxsucd was born in 2015 out of a profound recognition of a critical gap in Ghanaian education – financial literacy. Founders Kofi Mensah and Ama Darko, both with backgrounds in finance and education, witnessed firsthand how the lack of basic financial knowledge was creating cycles of debt and financial instability across communities.
What began as informal workshops in local community centers in Accra quickly grew into structured courses with comprehensive curricula. The name "Botoxsucd" comes from the Akan phrase "Bɔ wo ho ban sucsuc da," meaning "Always protect yourself" – a philosophy we apply to financial well-being.
Over the years, we've expanded from our humble beginnings to reach thousands of Ghanaians across multiple regions. Our teaching methodology has evolved through feedback and research, but our core mission remains unchanged: to empower every Ghanaian with the financial knowledge needed to build a secure future.
